
Get Your Kids Talking with these Simple & Fun Questions:
Would you rather be really funny and everyone loved hanging out with you but you have to work really hard on your homework and study a lot to get good grades or to have no sense of humor but you never have to do homework or study and you get straight A’s.
If you could be one character from the Wizard of Oz assuming they have all their courage, hearts, etc. Which character would it be? The Tin Man, the Lion or the Scarecrow? Why?
If you could make a good living doing anything you wanted, what would you choose to do every day to earn an income?
How old should a girl be before she wears makeup?
When you choose a college, what do you think will be the most important thing to you about the college? In a city? Near home? Near an ocean? Why? What else will matter to you?
If you could play any sport professionally, what would it be? Why?
If you could jump into one movie and live in it for a day, what movie and which character would you be?
If someone wrote a book about your life so far, what would it be called?
If they made that book into a movie who would you want to play you in the movie?
Are you more comfortable at a party or social gathering when everyone is listening to you talk or when you are listening to someone else talk?










These are some great questions. I find a really great way to get kids talking is to start learn what their interests are. If they love a certain video game, why not watch them play it/play with them. Just like people, kids love talking about what they love. Also, I am seriously in love with the game Apples to Apples, because it gets kids to talk and have fun, and without them knowing teaches them some new vocab.
