There should be some legislature put in place to regulate nudity in locker rooms.  I am not one of those people who hides in a bathroom stall to change my clothes, but I am discreet.  I will keep a towel wrapped around me to save others the discomfort of trying not to look.

Yesterday I was blow drying my hair in the gym locker room when a 70ish woman appeared behind me in the mirror.  She was completely naked and walking my way.  The scale happens to be right next to the counter.  She stood butt ass naked on that scale for at least 3 minutes, clearly hoping for different results because she kept lightly tapping the marker on top.

I tried not to look as always, but its like a car accident, you just can’t help it.  Part of me wanted to high five her for being so completely carefree.  Part of me wanted to punch her for reminding me that someday my body will not look as it does now.  Mostly I just wanted to ask her to put a towel over it.  

I can somewhat justify women that walk around with their towels around their waste, exposing their breasts for all to see.  Hey, they are tied up in bras all day and if you feel the need to air them out on occasion, fine.  However, I do not EVER need to see the lower regions of another woman.  I do not want to see you on the treadmill next to me and think, oh she’s the one with the shaved kitty. 

The most offensive of all are the women that are completely naked and putting on lotion.  We all know the position it requires to get lotion all the way down to our ankles.  It isn’t pretty.  For the love of all that is good, PUT A TOWEL OVER IT.  

Cover your shit up.  If you want to walk around nude at home and frighten your cats, so be it.  The gym is a public place.  We don’t have nude beaches in this country for good reason, why should the locker room be any different?
