Hobbies:  Playing in the dirt, setting off fire alarms at preschool and bossing people around.
Best Qualities:  The sweetest disposition this side of the Mississippi. gets excited to the point of jumping up and down when I mention that a sitter is coming.  I shake it off when my girlfriends come over and he asks me to leave.  I tell myself that it’s good that he can’t wait to get out the door for school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Today he raised the bar.  This morning, while standing in line at Starbucks, he said to me, “I want a new mom”.  

What I didn’t say, which I really wanted to say, was “Come again you little shit.”  

What I did say, in my calmest voice was, “Oh.  Who would you like to be your new mom?”  I was sure he would say one of my good friends and I would call her later today and tell her how sweet it was.

He looked around Starbucks, pointed at some stranger and said, “I’ll take her”.
